ErisFieldFarm Odette x HMElite P Duncan Planned Pedigree Due Date: September 2023 Reservations: Open Colors Possible: Black, Cou Clair, Chamoisee, Cou Clair x Chamoisee combo. Moonspots possible.
I am really excited about this outcross pairing. Both Odette and Duncan did very well in the showring during our very limited 2022 show season. Odette has a nice topline and good front end assembly, I am hoping that Duncan will bring his depth of body and rear legs to the table. His babies have been very long-bodied and sharp.
ErisFieldFarm Genevieve x MeadowRidgeMillstone Alboutgus Planned Pedigree Due Date: September 2023 Reservations: Open Colors Possible: Black, Buckskin, Cou Clair, or Buckskin/Cou Clair combo and may have chocolate modifier. This all depends on if Genevieve is buckskin x buckskin or buckskin x black. Blue eyes and polled are possible.
Just like her sisters, Genevieve brings her A-game when it comes to toplines (gotta love that consistency!). And like Gus, she also has a nice spring of rib. Genevieve was also shown in the summer of 2022 and always placed high in her classes.
ErisFieldFarm Ceridwen x Tempting Willows RK War Paint Planned Pedigree Due Date: TBD Reservations: Open, first doe kid to be retained. Colors Possible: Cou Clair x Buckskin, Cou Clair x Chamoisee, Buckskin, or Chamoisee.
Ceridwen is a very correct doe who has recieved great praise and high placings in the show ring, taking Reserve Grand at county fair. She will be a first freshener, and I am incredibly excited to see how her udder develops. First doe kid will be retained, this is one of the few FF that I may offer a buck kid out of.
Patchwork Acres T Creole x Tempting Willows RK War Paint Planned Pedigree Due Date: TBD Reservations: Open, first doe kid to be retained. Colors Possible: Buckskin or Chamoisee
Creole freshened with an absolutely wonderful udder and great capacity! Despite dam raising a single doeling, she is still in milk a full calendar year later and still putting quite a bit in the pail. If you're looking for length of lactation, she's the doe you'll want a kid out of. First doe kid will be retained, buck kids may be offered intact.
Celtic Pride Aurora x HMElite P Duncan Planned Pedigree Due Date: TBD Reservations: Open, first doe kid to be retained Colors Possible: Cou Clair or Black. Polled possible.
This is the pairing I am MOST excited about this fall! Celtic Pride Aurora has done wonderful in the show ring, taking Grand Champion at county fair. She comes from lines that are slower to mature, so she will be bred late fall for late spring babies. Her teat size already looks good, and paired with Duncan he will give great capacity to any daughters. First doe kid to be retained, other doe kids will be available to performance herds only.
Eris Field QY Kamassa x Tempting Willows RK War Paint Planned Pedigree Due Date: TBD Reservations: Open Colors Possible: Chamoisee, Chamoisee x Buckskin, Buckskin
Kamassa freshened with a very nice udder. Her teat size is an improvement over her dam, and she's had great capacity. This year she is being paired with Dakota to improve hip angle and topline. Based on her first set of kids, she has improved upon herself so I look forward to her kids out of this buck since his genetics have done well with her dam.
Noble Meadow Pumpkin Pye x HMElite P Duncan Planned Pedigree Due Date: TBD Reservations: Open, first doe kid to be retained Colors Possible: Gold, Chamoisee x Cou Clair, Chamoisee. Blue eyes & moonspots possible.
Pye freshened with a phenomenal udder. She has great medial division, nice attachments, and great sized teats for a FF! I am hoping Duncan will add a touch more capacity on daughters. First doe kid will be retained, others will be available with a strong preference going towards performance homes.
ErisFieldFarm Hazel x MeadowRidgeMillstone Alboutgus Planned Pedigree Due Date: TBD Reservations: Open Colors Possible: Buckskin x Cou Clair, Buckskin, or Black (if Hazel carries black). Polled, moonspots, and blue eyes possible.
Hazel was suppose to be bred in spring 2023, but due to scheduling conflicts we missed her heat cycle and decided to hold off until fall. Regardless, she should have some gorgeous kids and I am excited to see how she freshens!
