Sales Policies

Waitlists: We allow potential buyers to get on a free waitlist for future kids. A waitlist is NOT a commitment to buy, nor is it a promise that we will sell you a kid. We place performance homes at a higher priority than pet homes.  Buyers on a waitlist will be contacted prior to making kids available for sale to the general public.

Deposits: When reserving a doeling or buckling, a deposit of at least $50 must be paid within 24 hours. If the deposit is not paid, you forfeit your reservation and the kid will be made available for sale.  We accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, Cashapp, or Paypal friends & family method. Do NOT send via Paypal Goods & Services. The remaining balance of your deposit is due on or before pickup. Because we place the welfare of our animals first and foremost, we reserve the right to cancel and refund deposits for ANY reason. We may, at our discretion, offer a refund or offer to switch the deposit over to a different goat if the original reserved goat falls ill, dies, or becomes seriously injured in-between the time of the deposit and the date of pick-up.

Transportation: ​Buyer is responsible for arranging transportation. If a CVI is needed to transport across state lines, please let us know at the time of purchase so arraignments can be made. CVI fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Failure to pick up on the agreed upon pickup date may result in a $5/day boarding fee. Buyers MUST have safe transportation home for the goat, we will not allow an animal to leave the property if we feel the method of transportation is unsafe.

Health: All pregnant does are given CDT in the last month of pregnancy. Kids are given an initial CDT vaccine at 6 weeks of age, with a booster at 10 weeks. We disbud and tattoo all kids born on the farm. We do not guarantee that kids will not develop horn scurs. It is the buyer's job to thoroughly inspect the goat they are purchasing.

Registration: All kids eligible for registration born on our farm will be registered under the Eris Field herd name with the ADGA. We may choose to sell a doe or wether kid without papers if we deem it "pet quality".  We do not sell bucklings without papers.

General Sales Policies: All kids born on our farm are dam raised and handled extensively. We may, at our discretion, offer babies as bottle babies or as unregistered pet quality stock. We retain the right to wether any bucklings for any reason. Because goats are herd animals, we do not sell goats to single-goat homes. If you are new to goats and looking to begin a herd, we are happy to work with you to help you get started.
